Sightseeing & Tours

The Hop on Hop Off tour is the best way to see the whole city and especially at the beginning of your trip so you get an overview of the whole city and you know where you want to come back and spend extra time. https://www.bigbustours.com/en/paris/paris-bus-tours/

The best thing is to go to the Eiffel Tower and by the river are all the boats and companies. https://www.toureiffel.paris/en/rates-opening-times

Take a boat cruise on the river Seine:

My favorite tours come from Zig Zag but unfortunately they are only offered in French...

My favorite museums

  1. Musée d’Orsay: https://www.musee-orsay.fr/en

  2. Le Centre Pompidou : https://www.centrepompidou.fr/en/

  3. Musée du quai Branly: https://www.quaibranly.fr/en/

  4. Fondation Louis Vuitton: https://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr/en

Yes I did not list the Louvre and although it is an amazing museum, I am more of a fan of the outside than the inside!

My favorite neighborhoods

  1. Saint Michel

  2. Saint Germain

  3. Montmartre

  4. Opéra which is also amazing for shopping, and go on the rooftop of the Galeries Lafayette for a great view!

  5. Versailles

The Best Rooftops

The Best Parisians Terrasses

My favorite website and Instagram account to follow about Paris is My Little Paris and they have the best suggestions and maps. I haven't tried all the terrasses yet but I will during my next trip!
